In-Between:
In-Between is a place where owner-less pets are taken to be cared for. The pets are separated into Wards by their age. They are roughly disciplined and are severely mistreated. They are given very little to live off of and are treated poorly. The workers at In-Between are cruel as possible to the pets, though it can’t be blamed on them. The workers are chosen by the Council and the job is most definitely not one to be envied.
In-Between is located not far for Kyroshin. It’s a large, fenced off area surrounded by dense woods with only one path for visitors. It’s very closed off and secluded, to keep the pets from conspiring against leaving.
Kyroshin:
Kyroshin is the capitol of the Land of Others (which also would have had a cool name, except that none of the Council members could decide on anything). It sits almost in the center of the continent. There is no certain “lord” over Kyroshin; instead, the whole Council rules it.
Mountains:
The mountains are a large, vast mountain range to the west of the continent. It’s where a large majority of the Human population lives. That’s not to say that it’s cold all the time, though. During the summer season, the lower regions of the mountains and the valleys can have a rather high temperature with lots of plants and animal life. Because the area is so confined (and because there are lots of Humans there) most Others will not populate that area, though some do.
Plains:
The Plains are a wide, open area of mostly nothing. There’s lots of grass and plants beyond the random house or small village. Most Anthros and Daemons can be found within these areas. Much of the ground is ideal for planting, so those creatures that are farmers, etc. own large plots of land on which to work. Though the Plains are not uninhabitable, someone that seeks seclusion will find it there easily.
Cities:
There are many cities besides Kyroshin, 67 to be exact, that are ruled over by the separate members of the Council. The rest are small, independent villages that thrive and grow on their own. Many of the cities and villages are near the ocean, as well.
