Semi woke up early as usual to get ready to work in his parents’ farm. Though he was always the first one up and the first one done, he walked down stairs to get himself some breakfast to eat before everyone else got up. Semi worked in the fields with his mom, dad, and older brother though his younger brother didn’t work at all since he was too young to do so. When he began making his food he tried to make sure that he didn’t wake anyone else up. After he finished making his food he sat down at the table and began to eat, though not too long after he started his older brother walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. It was his daily routine to wake up and then walk into the kitchen as soon as Semi had started to eat. “Morning,” Semi said lightly knowing his brother wasn’t a morning person. The older teen didn’t reply to him but instead helped himself to some of the food that Semi had made. Though it was the same thing everyone morning, since not too long after Semi’s older brother came into the kitchen his parents came in helping themselves to some of the food as well.
“Thank you very much for making the food, Semi,” his mother said with a smile on her face. “Yes same for me,” his father repeated after his mother. Damian, the oldest still never said a word to Semi for making the food that he was eating. Their father kicked him in the leg hitting to say ‘thank you’ though Damian didn’t want to or rather he wasn’t quite up yet. A few minutes later after eating some of the food Damian was fully awake. “Yeah thanks, Semi,” he said before he got up from the table and put his plate in the sink. Not too long after he did that everyone else followed him with their plates then they all walked outside to get started on their daily chores.
Semi was about to start his daily chores when his mother told him to go somewhere else around in the plains to trade with someone. Though he never did quite understand why they couldn’t just grow that crop themselves. Semi didn’t argue about it he just went on taking what they would trade for something though not quite remembering what it was either after he left their farm. He seemed to have been walking aimlessly through the plains still a bit afraid of some of the Daemons out there. Semi was determined to get the crop his mother has asked for but lost in his thoughts he accordantly bumped into someone. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” he repeated over and over again to the person he bumped into, just waiting for an answer from them.

Colin walked along the dusty ground angrily. The sun was hot against the half Vampires skin, and was putting him in a bad mood. It was mostly his fault though, that he was so hot. He was wearing a think dark cloak over his clothes, because he wanted something to cover his head so the sunlight wouldn't touch his face. The light was bothering him today, and his dad didn't seem to care when he sent him out to check out the feilds.
Why did he have to do this today? Everyone knew they were just fine. Colin stopped on a path by the outer reaches of the feild. He was examining some of the corn for the heck of it, when some person just walked right into him. He glared at the rambling person, noticing right off that it was a cat anthro.
Colin clamped his hand over the boy's mouth. "Shut. Up," he said quietly, though it wasn't friendly. It didn't even occur to him that he must have looked very creepy, with the cloak on and unfriendly manner. But he was only thinking about how this kid had walked into him. What was he doing out here anyway? "What's a kitten like you doing out here?" he asked lazily, moving his hand under the boy's chin and lifting it up to get a better look at his face. "Hopefully nothing bad, sweet little kitty," he said, tilting his head to the side. The part Daemon boy hoped he was creeping the guy out. It had been awhile since he had been able to creep anyone out.

Semi’s ears fell to the side at hearing the other’s voice. It truly sounded unkind and unfriendly. Though of course he couldn’t say anything the older teen’s hand over his mouth to shut him up from apologizing to him. Semi was no doubt creped out by the older teen; he didn’t understand why he was being so mean to him. He certainly felt like he was going to cry, he hadn’t thought that someone he didn’t even know would have been so rude to him.
Semi looked at him with his golden eyes, which were filling up with tears. He clenched the bag a fruit he was holding. “I-I was just trying to find someone to trade with me, that’s all I was doing, nothing more and nothing less.” Semi said lightly keeping gaze on the older teen in front of him. Though he was still a bit afraid of him so he wasn’t exactly sure what to say at all.
“I wasn’t doing anything bad, I really don’t want to do anything like that at all, nothing bad that is,” he said lightly, his ears still at the side from a while ago. Semi bowed lightly at the older teen before walking do the side of him and started to walk away.

Colin watched the cat anthro walk away with a little bit of surprise. Usually no one walked away from him until he was done with them. Well, those people were normally workers... but still. "Well you won't find anyone going this way," he informed the boy, walking up beside him. "The path curves around my feilds, to a dead end," he explained softly.
He noticed that the teen was clutching a bag of... something. Probably what he wanted to trade. "Are you looking for some one specific? Or just anyone at all?" he asked, tilting his head to get a better view of the bag so he could figure out what was in it. "Because if you are looking for some one, I think you are lost," he smirked. "What's in the bag?"

Semi looked beside him at the older teen that he was trying to get way from. He blushed lightly stopping turning his head so that he wasn’t looking at the other again. “Well it really doesn’t matter, out here you never know where you’re going,” he said lightly. “What difference does it make?”
Semi shook his head lightly looking back at the older teen. “No, I’m not looking for someone specific just someone to trade with that’s all,” he said lightly replying to the other’s question. Semi clutched his bag again, “I told you I wasn’t looking for someone and I’m not lost,” he blushed, “It’s just fruit that’s what’s in the bag.”

Colin stepped in front of the stranger, looking down at him blankly. Not that he had to look down a lot, the boy was not that much shorter than he was. He tried to ignore the sweat that was running down his face. Whoever said wearing thick dark clothes on a hot day was a good idea, though?
"You know what?" he said softly, tilting his head again. "I think I'm gonna take you to my father. He would like to know that some guy is wondering around his feilds, you know? Who knows what you're really up to," he muttered. Colin grabbed the boy's upper arm and started dragging him towards home. He didn't let on that he was bringing him to his father because he might want to trade something. Where none of his family really liked fruit, his dad's two pets did so it could be like a treat for them.

Semi was still a bit afraid of the other; it scared him a little more when the older teen steeped in front of him. He looked away from the older teen with a lightly blush on his face; he truly didn’t want the other to see that, not at all. Semi clutched the bag of fruit again.
He looked up at the older teen for a moment. “Huh? Y-your father? Umm…I’m not really up to something bad, just trying to find someone to trade with,” Semi said lightly though the tried to pull away from the older teen as he started to drag him towards his home. His ears fell to the side again as he followed the other.

For some odd reason Colin had the urge to scratch the boy's ears. They were so flat, that he just wanted them to perk up so he could see how they looked. It honestly scared him. He didn't even like to scratch the pets' ears, so why this stranger? The kid didn't even like him. Well... that was his fault, he knew.
He glanced over at the cat anthro. "We'll see what my dad says," he said simply. He felt the boy try to pull away from him, but didn't do anything because he knew he wouldn't be able to if he hadn't yet. After a few minutes of walking he sighed loudly. "It's such a long walk," he muttered. "What kind of fruit?" he asked randomly.

Semi gripped the bag of fruit as if someone were trying to steal it from him. Though he tried his best to keep his gaze off of the older teen, but of course that didn’t work all too well. Though every once in a while he would look up at the other and every time he did so he would blush a bit.
Semi got more afraid every time the older teen talked about his father. He was completely worried on what the other’s father was going to say to him. Semi’s ears twitched a bit; he moved his gaze to the ground as he continued to follow the older teen. “Huh?” he questioned lightly. “Umm…just about every fruit that you could grow out here in the middle of nowhere.”

"Really?" Colin asked quietly. He squinted his eyes, seeing that there was some one walking towards them. A tall, pale man with long midnight black hair in a braid. He was wearing a nice pair of jeans and a dark blue shirt made of light material. Also, he was wearing a hat to keep the sun out of his face. When he saw Coling and the cat anthro he tilted his head suspiously. "Father," the teen said softly when they reached eachother.
Jacques nodded at him, looking at the kid his son was pulling. "Who is this?" he asked.
"He says he wants to trade fruit, but I found him wondering around aimlessly. So you know, out of the goodness of my heart I decided to bring him to you," Coling answered.
The Daemon stared at his son a moment before motioning for them to walk with him. "Let go of the boy, Colin," he chided, and the teen did so. "What is your name, and what do you have to trade?" he asked, all business like.

When Semi noticed that someone was coming towards them. He wanted to hide behind the older teen but figured that would have been a little too hard since the other held him by the upper arm. Semi frowned a bit looking at the man in the distance, something about him bothered him but he wasn't quite sure what it was that bothered him. "Father?" he questioned lightly looking up at the older teen.
Semi looked up at the man that now stood in front of them, his ears twitched just looking at the man. He was going to answer but didn't have time to do so.
His gaze quickly sifted to look at the older teen again. Though he was still a bit afraid on what they planned on doing to him, something in his heart told him that something was deffiantly wrong with these people and that they weren't really good people at all.
Though as they walked with the man, Semi felt the other let go of his arm. He looked up at the man again, his ears where back at the side as if he were upset or depressed about something. "Umm...my name is Semi Aqua and I have fruit to trade..." Semi managed to get at least that sentence out of his mouth.

Semi Aqua Colin thought to himself, watching the nervous cat anthro talk to his father. He looked so uncomfortable as he walked between them. Though if they switched places, he thought he would be too.
Jacques nodded. "My name is Jacques Travers," he said softly. He smiled lightly at the teen. "Don't look so worried, child, I am not going to eat you. I am not hungry, and I do not eat the people I trade with."
"I might," Colin said softly, smirking at the cat boy. At his father's glare he sighed. "But I won't. I would imagine kittens don't taste that good anyway."
The older Daemon reached his hand out towards Semi. "Please excuse my son. He will not hurt you, I promise. May I see the fruit? I would like to see how good it is before I make any deals," he told him.

Semi looked up at the older man when introduced himself as Jacques. He bow slightly well just enough so that he didn’t drop any of his fruit. “Okay…”
Semi looked over at the older teen for a moment with his ears still down. “Huh?” he was confused; he honestly didn’t think that he tasted good but he really didn’t understand why Colin would want to bit him anyways.
“Huh? Oh the fruits yes you may see the fruit.” He said lightly handing the bag of fruit over to Jacques.

Jacques looked at the fruit carefully as they walked. He smiled down at Semi after a few moments. "These look really good, Mr. Aqua," he told him. "I have corn and some fresh blueberries. If you are not looking to trade for food, I am sure I can find something else," he explained. He looked thoughtful for a moment. "Or if you need seeds, we have some of those too."

Semi looked up at Jacques with a small smile on his face. “Umm…I’d gladly take the corn and blueberries, I really I wouldn’t mind them so it really doesn’t matter to me what I get from the trade.” He said lightly twiddling his fingers.
