Adaya woke on a warm, comfortable bed with a soft sigh before rolling onto his back, resting a forearm across his closed eyes to keep the sun out. A timid smile itched its way onto his features as he savored the feeling of the sun on his skin; he'd missed that feeling.
The cat-boy had high hopes for his new home. Then again, what pet didn't? Anything was better than In-Between. At least, with his new master, it seemed that he would be able to make use of his cooking and cleaning skills he'd obtained at his last home. From what he'd seen of rich women (which was quite a bit, but that was quite a long time ago), they liked things to be neat and orderly, and he was good at that. However, he hadn't been quite so convinced at first. When Adaya had been at In-Between and the woman had been considering buying him... he'd almost felt like a piece of art in a museum the way she kept watching him critically and having him do this or answer that question. It was almost frightening to him.
Adaya was thankful to see that he was not the only one being bought by the critical, bossy woman. Another Anthro-Humanoid was being thoroughly speculated as well, though, he seemed much more sure of himself than the cat-boy was. Adaya was keeping himself distracted by trying to guess what kind of Anthro species the man was. He'd narrowed it down to some kind of reptile or lizard, but he still wasn't exactly sure.
Another character that interested him was the man that was constantly around, though he didn't make much of an impression beyond that. He'd said few words to either pet so far; he'd mostly only talked to the bossy woman.
Adaya yawned quietly, stretching his arms over his head as he arched his back off the bed before collapsing back onto the mattress. Compared to the dingy cots at In-Between the makeshift bed was heaven and the cat-boy revelled in the feeling of comfort. He didn't want to get up, but he didn't want his master to think he was lazy-- then she might send him back. The cat-boy sighed again before climbing out from underneith the blanket and quickly fixing his bed from its slept-in state.
Yes, he was very hopeful of this new home. He couldn't wait to see what his new life here would hold for him.

Rough hands pulled him out of his peaceful, semi-wakefulness. Nagendra quickly composed himself and even allowed a confidant smirk appear on his face. "Can't keep your handsss off me can you, Ssssawyer," he murmured seductively once he realized it was the sexy fox anthro guard who had woken him.
The fox-man glared, forcing the younger male in front of him and around the many other cots in the cell. "Keep your hissing to yourself," he ordered.
The serpent anthro cocked his smoothly. "What brings you here this fine morning, Sawyer?" he inquired, losing the 's' thing.
"I potential buyer."
"A potential buyer, hm?" he asked, eyes brightening. Then he leaned in closer to the bushy haired man. "You are going to miss me, are you not, Ssssawyer?" the boy asked confidently.
A buyer? he thought to himself amusedly. It was about time. He had had about enough of this dreary old place. There was really only so much he could take of the depressing cells and halls, and the small piece of land they called 'fresh air'. The sea serpent only hoped the buyer would be attractive....
"But she was not," the stubborn thought as began to come into the world of the living once more. Only this time it was much more peaceful, yet there was no sexy fox man to greet him. No, there was no living being at all.
Negendra rolled onto his back comfortably, resting his bare arms on the pillow near his head. The sleeves of the soft shirt he was wearing were scrunched all the way down near his shoulders. He began wondering why a bossy old lady would want to purchase him. The attractive young anthro knew he was not born for old females. Maybe he was being harsh, but he was allowed to be!
The young man pouted stubbornly as he thought about his predicament. There was the attractive quiet man though. Maybe he would prove to be worth staying here? And if not perhaps that adorable little cat anthro boy would be? Nagendra had no idea what he would do, or if there were any other pets in this abode that would interest him. He did know one thing though:
This bed was way too comfortable to get out of.

Cathal sighed as the sun crept through his window and hit his eyelids. Another day...What a pity. The vampire youth much prefered the night, even if he never did go out. It just seemed so much more...quiet and refreshing then the harsh daylight.
Besides, with this new day, he would have to meet his new pets and show them what their tasks were. His mother refused to do that because she didn't want them thinking that she was their master. Cathal wasn't sure that had worked though...The way the two had looked at her with obediance and him with just interest showed that.
"Time to wake up, darling," a soothing voice called out to him. His black eyes squinted open to peer into the timeless face of his mother. The woman smiled and put a hand on his shoulder to help him sit up, despite his protests. He wasn't that sick, honestly! "You have pets to meet and train today, after all."
Cathal glared, though it had little effect on the elder vampire. "Mother...You know that I had no desire to even keep one pet, let alone two. I'm not an invalid, I just get the quivelent to a human cold sometimes," he said in a voice that clearly displayed having gone through the particular argument more then once or twice with the woman.
As she opened her mouth to rebuke him, he raised his hand in defeat. "No. Fine. I'll get up. Just stop, please," he mumbled, pushing himself off of his bed. His back was turned, so he didn't see the devious smirk that crossed the black haired woman's features before he headed into his closet.
After dressing, Cathal headed towards his new pets' rooms. He had enough of the extra rooms and figured that since they'd be staying with them for quite awhile...Well, no reason for them not to be comfortable during their stay.
Quietly, he knocked at each door and stuck his head in to quickly command, "Come down the stairs into the living room as soon as you are decent," before withdrawling to hurry down the stairs. His mother was already gone when he arrived; a note told him so and that she would visit again in a month or so.
As the two pets came down, he pointed them to sit and to tell him their names and what skills they already possessed.

Adaya jumped when there was a knock on his door and turned to face it, waiting for someone to enter; instead, a voice did. Orders to be downstairs come from the voice that obviously wasn't the bossy master lady. The cat-boy quickly did as the voice instructed him and shrugged on his clothes.
Going quickly down the hallway to the stairs, the Anthro was able to catch up to the other pet that had been bought and followed him into the living room. He still hadn't figured out what species of Anthro the man was; his curiousity was starting to bother him. Upon entering the room, Adaya saw the non-obtrusive man that had been with the bossy lady was the only other person there.
The cat-boy quickly took a seat on the floor near the couch, neatly folding his legs underneath him so he was out of the way. When the two pets were instructed to talk, Adaya waited nervously for the long-haired man to answer first.

The quiet command made the sea serpent annoyed and joyful all at the same time. Annoyed because he would need to actually move out of the warm confides of this comfortable bed; and joyful because the command was voiced by a male. Things were looking up for Nagendra and it was not even high noon yet.
Stretching lazily the snake anthro decided he should hurry things up, with as much style as one needed when all alone. Which in his case would be the same as when he were around others. Nage changed into some different clothes; a pair of black pants and a loose white shirt did the the job.
When he could not find a brush he ran his fingers through his long, silver hair to straighten it out a bit. The snake anthro walked out of his room gracefully, unconsciously moving his hips side to side. Along the way an adorable little kitten decided to follow him like a lost puppy. It took all the pet's control not to fool around with the adorable anthro. He was definitely thinking about it though.
Instead of following the other boy to the floor and relaxed on a chair across from the others. Really, did that boy expect him to get his clothes dirty? Honestly! Smirking slightly, Nagengra swished some long strands of silky hair out of his narrow eyes. "My name is Nagendra, Masssster," he said softly, flirtatiously. "As for skills, whatever I may do to pleasure you is my desire," he added, aiming a quick wink at the silent and nervous cat-boy.

Cathal raised an eyebrow at Nagendra's hiss. "Indeed," he commented in a deadpan. He knew that many pets did become involved with their masters, but he had no desire for that to happen. Actually, it was slightly irritating, but he let it past. "I may have just the job for you though..."
His mother had mentioned that he should seriously consider using one of his pets as his daily meal from now on. He would just have to be careful not to drain the you...Not that it would be that hard to do because of his amount of self-control. Also it meant he'd contract no more diseases and would not have to leave his work in order to feed...
"And what about you?" his voice came forth slowly as he turned his eyes to the other anthro, pushing his hair from his eyes as he did so. "Who are you, and what are you good at?"

Adaya watched, rather awed, as the other man, Nagendra, actually took a seat in a chair. None of the cat-boy's previous master's had let him sit on their furniture. The other pet's words made Adaya blush darkly. He may have been naive, but he exactly what Nagendra was referring to. He was also surprised by that; he'd never met anyone with so much gawl before. He also thought it was odd that the strange, quiet man had barely had a responce to the pet's flirting. His new home was deffinetly strange.
"And what about you?" Adaya jumped and squeaked in a nervous sort of surprise.
"Ah? Uh... Adaya... is my name... uhm... I'm good at lots of things: ...cooking, cleaning, reading, and I can sort of write a bit, and... and... uhm... I can sew well enough... uhm... and uh... I... my last master was very ill, so I had to take care of him a lot... so learned.... from... uhm.... helping him and...," he rattled on, his voice trailing of at the end. He didn't being put on the spot. Both men in the room were much older than him and both seemed much more serious. He hoped he did well here.

His new master's comment did not even make him blink. The man's disinterest only made Nagedra want to work harder. Challenges were always much more fun. Especially when they were as attractive as this one. Black and white hair, interesting scars on his face, and the overall bored appearance of the other male interested him to no end.
It did irk him a bit when the other's attention was switched to the other pet so easily, but he knew it would simply be something to work on. Now he could study the other anthro as well. The poor boy was stuttering so much he was trying to decide if that would be considered attractive or annoying. Seeing as the cat boy squeaked when he was addressed Nage had to go with attractive in a cute sort of way- if being a bit of a suck up.
The thought made him pout slightly, making him look miffed. This Adaya knew how to do so many things, but not one of them seemed very entertaining. What sort of people was this pet around? Didn't he know he was allowed to have fun. Oh, he was definately going to show him some 'fun' things to do to make up for all the lost time "cleaning". The snake anthro smiled, though it was not a smile you should readily trust, when the other anthro was finished rambling.
"Ssso, may I ask what your name is," Nagendra started, tilting his head at Cathal, "Massster."

Cathal paused for a moment before smirking darkly, though it held no humour or amusement. "You may. My name is Cathal, though you will only be addressing me as Master Cathal, Master, Sir, or Lord Faust while in public," he intoned. Yes, that was something his mother had been sure to drill into him last night when they'd been talking. The family's reputation couldn't become defiled by a simple pet, after all.
"From this point on, you will listen to only I, my mother - the woman from last night, or my father...Who you have yet to meet. You will treat them both with the utmopst respect when you do come in contact with them," he continued before pausing. Now what?
Ah, right. "Jobs." He already had a vague idea about what he wanted Nagendra to do, but Adaya was a lot easier to take care of. "You will be in charge of the cleaning and the tailoring should anything rip," he said, pointing at the younger looking Anthro. "You may sit on the furniture to rest and whatever you can find to make this place shine. You need not to worry about cooking any meal except for your own..."
The Faust heir turned to the snake anthro and continued. "Which is where you will come in. You wish to pleasure me...To please me...To make me happy, yes?" He paused to frown before his lips curled into a forboding smile where his canines glinted. "Then feed me, and when you're not doing that, you'll help Adaya with whatever he needs."

Adaya looked curiously at Cathal. So, the bossy lady wasn't their master? He didn't want to say it, but he was greatly relieved. However, the cat-boy couldn't imagine why his new master would want two pets. He didn't even seem to want them there; it was as if he was resigned and was putting up with it.
With the assignments they were given, Adaya almost felt as if Cathal was putting him above Nagendra, so to speak. He had more jobs and the other pet was supposed to 'help' him. He didn't know if the other two say it that way, but it was something he noticed. He also hoped that Nagendra wasn't angry about his advances being so blantantly ignored. He was more afraid, however, of the way their new master's fangs protruded from his grin like they did.

Nagendra resisted the urge to cover his neck with hand worriedly. Those canines were definately not normal. At least, not to anything not vampire. How did he get into this situation? The anthro was not supposed to be some one's main course! He was supposed to be the tasty dessert....
The silver haired boy fingered some of his long hair idly. Now was not the time to be thinking about that. He would simply need to come up with a way to switch it around so they were both happy. That also included him getting out of helping- hm, maybe not. The sea serpent glanced at the obediant cat anthro thoughtfully. Adaya certainly was adorable. Maybe doing these "chores" would not be so bad?
Oh, and the old crabby lady was not his master? That definately made his day a whole lot better. Nage wondered briefly if Cathal's father was as annoying as the female. Maybe, if he was attractive, the snake anthro could entertain him on occasion. That set him off thinking about his new master's parents' home and their servants and pets and if any of them would be worth persueing as well.

Cathal gave a dry chuckle and fluidly stood. "Now...I suppose I should give you both the tour of the place," he said, gesturing them to follow him. "I don't need you getting confused about where to go when I tell you to do something. Come."
He took them from the living room to the kitchen, to the dining room, parlor, bathrooms, and then upstairs to the bedrooms. Along the way, he pointed out where certain things could be found and what several closets were for. When he was passing by the room next to his, he paused.
"Never go into that room without me or unless I specifically tell you to. That's my lab," the vampire told his new pets. "...And it would probably be in your best interests to stay out." His voice cut through the air like a dagger before softening to it's normal bored tone. "Anyways, to the left is your bedroom, Nagendra...Adaya's is next to yours..."
After all the rooms in the house were shown to the two, Cathal took them back downstairs. "So, for today, you don't need to begin your duties - Just stay out of my hair. Tomorrow is when your real work begins." He shoved a few strands of hair away from his scarred cheek before turning to go up the stairs. Pets...Ugh. Too much effort.

Adaya followed after his master and Nagendra, careful to keep up and pay attention. He didn't want to get lost; that would be terrible! When the tour was over, the cat-boy found himself going through each room's location in his mind... he was also very afraid of his new master's lab. For being un-obtrusive, Cathal sure was over-protective of his things. Then agian, Adaya supposed, if he had things, he'd be over-protective of them too.

"...And it would probably be in your best interests to stay out." Nage silently huffed in his mind. Nothing made you want to touch something more than when that something was off limits. Still, the anthro studied all four doorways interestedly. This definately made things conveniant. Every single one in the same area, right next door. Ooh, this was going to be fu-un.
Hm? Oh, the other two were moving. Nagendra followed carelessly, memorizing, or pretending to memorize, every closest, room, and hallway. Then the tour was at an end. The pet raised an eyebrow and carefully walked over to his new master, discreetly studying those interesting scars. Normally he felt queasy around anything reminding him of violence, but... Cathal did not look disgusting at all.
"You are leaving us, Master Cathal?" he asked, tilting his head curiously but with an air of sadness. This was their first day, wasn't he supposed to at show some interest in them?

Cathal paused and then turned his head to look back at the two pets with a raised eyebrow. "I was going to, yes," he said after a moment. "Why? Was there something else that you particularily wanted..."
He glanced over at Nagendra and repressed a small smirk. "Let me rephrase myself. Anything that you particularily need? If you are hungry, I know nothing about cooking, though my mother did buy enough food for you both before she bought you," he added, in case that is what they wanted.
"If you don't need any food...Is there anything else?"
